Data Retention Policy

Aishni Pathology Laboratory maintains patient records, diagnostic reports, personal information, billing records, consent forms, quality records, and other related information in accordance with applicable laws, government regulations, and relevant quality and accreditation requirements.

Data requested for deletion will be removed from our active systems wherever legally permissible. However, certain information, including laboratory reports, patient records, billing information, consent forms, quality records, and other statutory documents, may be retained for the period required under applicable laws, regulatory requirements, NABL or other applicable standards, or as necessary for medical, legal, audit, quality assurance, and accreditation purposes.

During the required retention period, all retained information is handled securely, and access is limited to authorized personnel. Appropriate administrative and technical measures are followed to protect patient information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

Once the mandatory retention period expires and the information is no longer required for legal, medical, regulatory, audit, or accreditation purposes, such records will be securely deleted, anonymized, or destroyed in accordance with our record management and data security procedures.
